The Lifeline

If someone you know is struggling emotionally or having a heard time, you can be the difference in getting them the help they need. It’s important to take care of yourself when you are supporting someone through a difficult time, as this may stir up difficult emotions. If it does, please reach out for support yourself.

    Bring Change to Mind is a nonprofit organization dedicated to encouraging dialogue about mental health, and raising awareness, understanding, and empathy.

    As part of California’s ongoing mental health movement, the Take Action for Mental Health campaign is designed to help you check in, learn more, and get support for mental health.

  • HearYou.org

    HearYou.org offers secure video counseling at nearly half the cost of a typical counseling session.

  • JED Foundation

    JED’s Mental Health Resource Center helps you manage your emotional health, cope with challenges, and support the people in your life.

  • Mind Out Loud

    The youth-led mental health movement including free monthly workshops, free student rep program, and a free online annual event.

  • NAMI California

    A grassroots organization that provides support, advocacy, and education for people with mental illness. Among the services provided through local and regional affiliates are peer education and support groups.

  • NAMI On Campus (CA)

    NAMI On Campus Clubs are student-led clubs that tackle mental health issues at high schools (within California) and on college campuses by raising mental health awareness, supporting students, and advocating for more support.
