Our Response to COVID-19

As we join together to navigate these challenging times, mental health is a top priority for us all. In response to COVID-19 and the closure of California schools, Wellness Together School Mental Health has transitioned any school-based therapy services that weren't already occurring online to our Online Student Mental Health platform, using the secure, HIPAA-compliant videoconferencing app, Zoom.

Many of the students and families we serve were already using Zoom to participate in the school-based therapy program. Students and families that have received services on campus at a school site are accessing mental health services using Zoom. The Zoom platform allows students to access mental health services with almost any device including a smartphone, laptop, desktop, Chromebook, or tablet. Students who have limited access to devices and/or the Internet may access mental health services using a telephone.

We are grateful to be fully operational delivering mental health services to students across California. We also are continuing to field requests for services for new district partners. For the health and safety of our staff, California educators, and the communities we partner with, we are offering Parent/Guardian Workshops and Professional Development in a webinar and livestream format. On-campus CORE3 student workshops will be postponed until further notice. If you are an educator interested in learning more about online school-based mental health services for your students, please complete the form found at wellnesstogether.org/schools.

We are grateful to continue serving your students and families, your staff, and you during this time. Please feel free to reach out with any questions at communications@wellnesstogether.org.
