Jeremiah Aja, M.A., is a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee with over seventeen years experience working with teens and young adults within a church ministry and school campus setting. He also has seven years of experience working with couples and adults. His focus as a therapist is to serve his clients by walking alongside them, offering a trusting and judgment-free connection through all of the ups and downs that life may include. Jeremiah understands this and is especially gifted in connecting with people in order to support them. His framework for therapeutic work is, “At some point in each of our lives, we will need someone to walk with us for awhile. Therapy is about me walking with you.” Jeremiah utilizes a Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Narrative, and Psychodynamic approach to work with teens and adults experiencing low self-esteem, grief, anxiety, depression, codependency, major life transitions, self-harm, and leadership and spirituality issues. He received his B.A. in Leadership from William Jessup University in 2004, an masters degree from Asbury Theological Seminary in 2010, and is currently completing his M.A. in Psychology from Brandman University. I help families build respect, healthy boundaries, communication skills, clear expectations, and personal responsibility.

“Any change, any loss, does not make us victims. Others can shake you, surprise you, disappoint you, but they can’t prevent you from acting, from taking the situation you’re presented with and moving on. No matter where you are in life, no matter what your situation, you always have a choice and that choice can be power.” ~ Blaine Lee
