Courtney Giardina, M.A., is a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern (IMF #99534), and is registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS). Her educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree from California State University, Sacramento and a Master’s degree in Psychology (Marriage and Family Therapy and Professional Clinical Counseling emphasis) from Brandman University. Treatment approaches include Mindfulness-Based Therapy (MBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFBT), Narrative, Motivational Interviewing, Eclectic, Family/Marital Systems and Humanistic. Courtney is accepting individuals, families, and adolescents. She also has a background of working as a an EMT first responder.

Courtney believes that the relationship between client and therapist is one of the most important elements for the success of therapy, so it is important to find someone who feels right for you. Courtney is also available to provide online Telehealth Therapy services to anyone who resides within California.
